1. Public Places lookup
Wexnex uses Google Places Text Search and Place Details to find a public practice listing and prefill the facts for your confirmation. When available, a public photo is shown with its contributor/source attribution. Search suggestions and profile cards identify Google Maps as the source.
The API key is used by the server and is not placed in the browser, page address or download package. Specific requested fields, input limits, timeouts and no-store responses limit the lookup path.
2. Storage and your confirmation
Public listing content is not cached in local/session storage or exported. It and derived work remain in browser memory for the live session; a refresh retrieves the profile again. The selected Place ID can appear in the URL. Missing provider fields stay blank and can be entered by you for the current session.
A listing match does not confirm that you own, manage or are authorized to act for the practice. Your confirmation concerns the facts you choose to use in the workspace.
3. Account access is separate
Public clinic lookup does not require or grant Business Profile, Search Console, Analytics or Google Ads account access. Authorized participants in the private Scout pilot may separately connect a Google account and grant read-only Search Console access. The pilot's saved connection information, cached reports, revocation and deletion arrangements are described in the Connected Google Search Console pilot section of our privacy policy. Other account integrations require appropriate authorization, least required permissions and explicit processing disclosures.
4. Google terms and policies
Using public clinic search is subject to applicable Google Maps Platform terms. Read the Google privacy policy and Places policy documentation. Our privacy policy describes the current Wexnex processing.
